WANTED: Senior Accountant

Our client is a Private Equity backed company based in the East Valley that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, yes you will have traditional responsibilities such as M/E close and general ledger responsibilities, but there is much more to it. This role will own the Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold for the business along with Special Projects and more. You will present to the CFO and other Senior Leadership, work with Operations/Business Partners on business process, help implement and maintain internal controls. This role is great for the Accountant who does not want to sit behind a desk and get involved in the business. In this role, you will report to the Assistant Controller and work closely with the Finance, Accounting and Operating Teams and have high visibility with Senior Leadership.
What you need to bring to the table:
- BS Accounting is required, CPA a plus
- 3+ years of recent, hands on Inventory and Cost experience in a multi-location environment
- Experience developing and leading presentations to Senior Leadership
- A public accounting audit foundation or public company work experience would be a plus
- A desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment with an awesome team
- Ability & willingness to to work in-office/on-site four days a week
